The radiology department has a X-Ray plant - 600 MA (Siemens make) and a 300 MA with CR system (Fuji make). Three multi mobile 2.5 (Siemens Make) X-ray machines which help in taking the X-rays at the bed side of the patient.

The department is fully equipped with Automatic Chemistry Analyzer Cobas C3 111 of Roche make, fully Automatic 5 part Hematology Analyzer of Horiba, fully Automatic 3 part Hematology Analyzer of Transasia, ESR Analyzer, Electrolyte Analyzer, Coagulation Analyzer, Blood Gas Analyzer, HbA1c Analyzerfully Automated Blood culture and body fluid culture Bract Alert 3D 60 of Bio-merieux, Anti-Biotic Sensitivity and bio chemical test – Vitek- 2-Compact Biomerieux, Semi Auto-mated Elisa washer and reader of Transasia, RO plant of Rions etc .

We have a Microbiology department facility in Ramakrishna Mission hospital. Following samples are processing by Microbiology samples department-
1. Routine microscopy of urine stool body fluid.2. Aerobic culture of Pus Sputum Pleural fluid, Ascitic fluid, CSF, Throat swab culture, urine, synovial fluid culture.3. The Microbiology department provides Gram stain and Ziehl - Neelsen staining of all the body fluids sputum pus etc.4. In the microbiology department we had Vitek 2 compact automated machine for identification of pathogenic organism and antibiotic sensitivity report. This machine gives very fast results compared to manual method which takes more than 24 hours.

Clubfoot Clinic
Our Sevashrama runs Clubfoot Clinic every Friday 9 am 12 noon.
It is a free of cost clinic serving the poor and needy in association with CURE international and Govt. Of Uttarakhand.

During Swami Vivekananda’s wandering days (1888–1893), he came to Haridwar, Rishikesh, and other places in Uttarakhand. While wandering, Swamiji deeply pained to see the pitiable state of healthcare for the sadhus and general populace. Swamiji felt intensely that something must be done in this regard.
With a view to alleviating their sufferings, in 1901 Swamiji sent one of his disciples, Swami Kalyanananda (1874–1937), to Haridwar to serve the ailing sadhus and puplic.
A spirited and dedicated monk, Swami Kalyanananda started the service in right earnest and was later joined by one of his brother disciples, Swami Nischayananda (1865-1934). Both these illustrious monks did a pioneering work in the field of medical care in this part and that is how the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kankhal, came into existence.
This unique philosophy of service – Shiva Jnane Jiva Seva, serving God in living beings in a spirit of worship-derives its inspiration from the experiences and philosophy of Sri Ramakrishna who said, ‘can God be worshipped only through an image! He can be worshipped through all living beings as well!’ Service thus becomes a form of Sadhana, spiritual practice, uplifting the person who renders service in this way. Putting into practice this philosophy of service, the Sevashrama offers its services in various parts of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
